Update: May 22, 2024 (12:16 PM ET): T-Mobile has officially announced it is raising prices on some old plans. According to the carrier, “Beginning June 5, the rate of your voice plan will increase by $5.00/line per month. And the rate of your connected device plan will increase by $2.00/line per month.” In the FAQ section at the bottom of the announcement, the reason for the price increase is attributed to rising costs and inflation.
Original: May 22, 2024 (9:06 AM ET): Recent news stories and online chatter this week suggested that T-Mobile had a potentially unwelcome announcement to make today (May 22). Well, it looks like there is indeed bad news for T-Mobile users.
